LOCAL ACTIVATION DEVICES
For application where simple, local activation is indicated, Model CL30SAC or CL30AC may be the ideal solution. Modular design means they provide all the features you need in a single unit with the capability to grow as your requirements grow or change. Choose from 19 tones plus public address, separate tone and paging volume control, ramp up tone initiation, and all the other user friendly features of Coyote. The difference between the two models is simple. Model CL30SAC is complete with a 30 watt speaker; Model CL30AC requires a 30 watt speaker or multiple speakers totalling 30 watts. You can use Whelen speakers or your own existing speakers. Either way, you now have the full capability of the Coyote Series.
MODEL CL30SAC AUDIBLE SIGNAL DEVICE
All you need for local warning in a stand alone unit. Fully featured system with 30 watt speaker and amplifier provides tone generation, paging and optional digital voice, all with local control.
MODEL CL30AC AUDIBLE SIGNAL DEVICE WITHOUT SPEAKER(S) Full featured system without speakers. A 30 watt speaker, or, multiple speakers with a total output of 30 watts, can be mounted away from the remote unit.
DISTRIBUTED ACTIVATION DEVICES
For more complex applications, customize your Coyote system to meet your specific needs for warning and communication. With almost limitless configurations to choose from, Coyote adapts to the size of your building or buildings, ambient noise differences and varying activation requirements.
MODEL CDCBAC CENTRAL COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE
All the Coyote features built-in but does not include a 30 watt amplifier or speaker. Intended for use as a common control unit for one or more remote amplifier speakers, this unit can interface with your present paging system and provide the full range of Coyote features. Uses one watt audio output to distribute tone and public address to multiple remote amps which then drives one or more speakers totalling 30 watts output. A single switch activates all speakers in the system.
MODEL CDEA30SAC REMOTE AMPLIFIER WITH SPEAKER
This 30 amplifier with speaker operates as a single unit or in combination with other speakers using a Central Communications Device. This device provides tone and audio output to each speaker/amplifier so that a single activation operates all the speakers in the system. Separate volume control for tone and paging operating lets you set your warning levels as required.
MODEL CDA30AC REMOTE AMPLIFIER WITHOUT SPEAKER
Multiple 30 watt amplifiers can be used to expand your system using one Central Communications Device (which provides tone and audio capability) and speakers for each amplifier totalling 30 watts output. Model CDA30AC is another flexible component for customizing or extending the capability of your Coyote warning system.
OPTIONS
- Model C48BAT Battery Back-up
In the event of an AC power failure during an emergency, the battery back-up feature will provide a minimum of 30 minutes of continuous warning, ample time to evacuate personnel in most emergencies.
- Model CDVM Digital Voice Message Option
Field programmable, the digital voice option will record a single voice message of up to 20 seconds in length. It may be installed at any time into a CL30SAC, CL30AC Siren System or a CDCBAC Central Communications Device. Simply record the desired message using the included microphone. This message may be changed thousands of times without any wear or loss of power. Message is preceded by a 3 second bell tone and repeated until tone activation is terminated. Model CDVM is a simple and reliable method of adding digital voice effectiveness to your plant warning system.

INSTALLATION
Coyote modules do not require any special tools or training to install and operate, however, they must be installed and tested in accordance with all local electrical codes and regulations. Select a location that is free of obstruction in order to achieve full audio output. This also allows for any necessary positioning of the speaker. The alerting system is typically wall mounted and the speaker is rotated left or right to direct the sound output. If required, optional vertical wall brackets are available to pivot the speaker up or down for additional sound control. |
