The hand-held VaporTracer Portable Contraband Detector uses the latest Ion Trap Mobility Spectrometer (ITMS) technology available for detecting narcotics and explosives. The Vapour- Tracer is designed for demanding security environments where fast and accurate analysis is essential. The patented ITMS detector has been field-proven worldwide in the Itemiser® desktop instrument, and is now available for the first time in battery-powered portable configuration. The VapourTracer Portable Contraband Detector has been developed and tested with support from the US Department of Defense Counter-Drug Technology Development Program, acting on behalf of a consortium of US government agencies including US Customs, the US Coast Guard, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the President's Office of National Drug Control Policy.

The new Miniscan 2 Mail Screening System is designed for remote inspection of letters and small packages via the Miniscan 2's inbuilt high definition monochrome CCD camera. The camera is connected by a six foot cable to a 17" black and white monitor which provides enlarged images of the article being examined.
The Miniscan 2 letter and small package X-ray security screening system is a compact, lightweight unit designed for desktop operation. The 80KVP, 3mA X-ray source is powerful enough to penetrate bundles of mail and small packages, and detail as small as 36 gauge solid copper wire can be detected on the 12" (305mm) by 16" (406mm) fluorescent screen. Over 300 pieces per hour can be screened. |

The LINESCAN SYSTEM 222 is a very compact, low cost x-ray screening system. Designed for maximum reliability and maintainability, this unit is also easy to use, as well as being practical where space and cost are important considerations.
The System 222 has a table-top design. Weighing only 350 pounds, 80% less than typical screening systems, the unit can be easily transported. Its small size also makes the System 222 easy to store when not in use. |
